Joanna & Kenneth Anaya Wedding

This wedding was held near Cerrillos, NM, @ The Hacienda Dona Andrea de Santa Fe. It was an amazing place for a wedding. The reception was exceptionally fun with a backdrop of the Ortiz Mountains @ sunset.

Knox / Stanley Wedding

Aubrey Knox & Charles Stanley were married at the Buffalo Thunder Resort just outside of Pojuaque, New Mexico. Blue sky’s, rolling desert hills and a meticulous golf course became the backdrop for this wedding. Aubrey and Charles were playful throughout the wedding and joked often. But as nervousness set in and the groom began to sweat, she just casually pulled a tissue from her purse and wiped his brow. As the Ceremony ended, the newly weds were treated to a carriage ride from the Chapel to the Reception Hall down the road. After a bit of Marcha and the first dance, guest and wedding party alike were treated to a delicious dinner provided by the Buffalo Thunder Staff. After dinner of course was the cake cutting, bouquet / garter throw, speeches, and the Father/Daughter dance. IT was a beautiful wedding and one that i was honored to be apart of!

Griego / Armijo Wedding

Natalia & Steve were married at the Light at Mission Viejo Church.

Nicole / Jeremy Wedding

This was the very first wedding I photographed. It was the perfect setting for a wedding. It was held at the Plaza de Aldea here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The ceremony started just about 1 hour before sunrise. Just as the vows were coming to an end and the first kiss was exchanged, the sky lit up so perfectly.

Dorina / Andy Wedding

This wedding was actually held in a small church in Bernalillo, NM. I was asked to simply take some portraits for them here in Santa Fe. I couldnt think of better setting for wedding portraits then downtown Santa Fe. We started the shoot at the Cathedral Park alongside the St. Francis Cathedral Basilica. We then made our way over to the Square and did some shots on the stage.

Tercero / Reyes Wedding

Devonna & Lupe Reyes were married in September of 2007. The outdoor wedding took place at the residence of her parents (my parents). The weather was perfect, the setting beautiful, and the energy was contagious.

Garcia / Wolf Wedding

Crystal Garcia & Chris Wolf married in an intimate/private wedding. We photographed the portraits on the Cathedral Park just to the side of the St. Francis Bascilica here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. The weather was perfect as blue skies and a mini Cathedral of Notre Dame became the backdrop for this shoot.

Martinez / Vigil Wedding

This wedding was a very stressful one for me simply because i booked this wedding just one day before it took place. The bride and groom had already hired a photographer for their wedding but unfortunately he became ill and wasnt able to make it. Adrian & Mariquetta contacted me on Friday and asked if I could photograph their wedding the very next day. Typically i book weddings months in advance. This allows me to visit the location where the ceremony will take place 2 – 3 times prior to the event to plan my photography and see how the lighting plays out throughout the day. There was no planning this one. I showed up just 10 minutes before the wedding was supposed to start (i got lost in Nambe, NM). The Ceremony was in Chimayo, NM and once the ceremony began, everything seemed to settle down. I was fortunate that there was ample light in the church and plenty of room to walk around getting the best angles possible.

Griego / Tercero Wedding

What can be said about shooting your own brothers wedding… lots of work with no pay. That being said, it is much more rewarding to be complimented by family because they never have a problem with being honest. It was an intimate wedding held at the Tercero Residence (our parents). With Christmas lights and decorations glowing the mood was just right. The dim lighting posed a problem for the photography, but with the help from a tripod it was just fine. Once everyone took their place I was able to get to work.

Macias / Camacho Wedding

The Macias/Camacho wedding was held at the Lady of Guadalupe Church here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was a fun wedding to shoot. The clouds from a snow storm broke just as the ceremony began.

Ward / Belnap Wedding

The Ward/Belnap wedding was definitely one that I will remember for a long time. It took place on November 2nd, 2008 here in Santa Fe, New Mexico. It was held at the beautiful and historical Loretto Chapel. The wedding started off as any other it seemed. Everyone was rushing to finish all the last minute touches, and the energy was building in excitment. Although the ceremony was beautiful and definitely a highlight of the wedding, the real fun started at the reception where a masquerade ball ensued.

Simple masquerade masks to Halloween like costumes made this event one to remember. The energy was constantly building and soon the dance floor was inundated with vampires, pirates, pimps, and beautiful women! It was a good time had by all. This was by far the most unique wedding I have shot to date.
